However Attenborough turned his back on retirement to embark upon one of the most ambitious and prolific chapters of his career yet, making eleven groundbreaking projects with a new production team using pioneering technology such as 3D and 4K. This intimate film, containing behind-the-scenes footage shot over seven years, new interviews and extraordinary clips from some of his recent films, follows Attenborough from the Galápagos Islands to the deserts of Morocco to the jungles of Borneo and captures an Attenborough never seen before. We discover a side to David that, until now, only a privileged few have seen.
